JCM audited two aquatic centres for a local government area in late 2013.

The first, a relatively modern indoor pool was becoming increasingly expensive to run and energy savings needed to be found. Leveraging our expertise and learnings from other aquatic centre audits, JCM was able to identify a number of areas where savings could be made. Our thorough investigation netted ultimate energy savings of around 25%.

Heating the second public pool complex represented more than 60% of the total energy costs for this facility, and the operators had noticed that costs were increasing significantly with time. By demonstrating how to run systems more efficiently, JCM Solutions identified major savings opportunities: in excess of 49% of the annual energy usage.
